TGTB Charitable Trust creates, facilitates and delivers custom art projects across the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board region in Auckland.
Our focus is on projects that engage the community and partnering with organisations to increase inclusion and participation.
2020 / At The Foot Of The Maunga
A successful expression of interest submitted to Auckland Arts Festival for their Whānui program involved artists Chantel Matthews and Bobby MacDonald working with their local communities in Tāmaki and Onehunga to create two temporary outdoor artworks, exchanged and displayed in Panmure Basin and Onehunga Bay Reserve.
2018 / Dunlop Lane Project
With support from Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board, the Trust worked with local youth from Panmure Community Hall and Peace Experiment to facilitate and produce two outdoor murals in Dunlop Lane, Panmure. The project included a series of workshops to create a design and teach skills associated with painting murals.
